Najia Naibkhil-Owner/Director

It is an honour and a thrill to be the owner/director of Birchland Tree House Play Care ltd. As an introductory of myself, I have over 20 years’ experience of teaching- where I first originated my degree Bachelor of Education back home. Earning my diplomas in Early Childhood Education, Infant and Toddler and Special Needs has inspired me to manifest a childcare busines that can aid children’s growth and development. Working with children and observing their creativity, development and thoughts always brings a smile to my face and warms my heart.

Madina Osmanzai-Manager 

I have always admired children ever since I was a child! I love working with children and observing their unique creativity when they do different kinds of experiments. I aspire to pursue my Early Education platform career by earning my Bachelor of Education degree. Through this works reveals I hope I get closer to the type of desire and ambition I attain working with children.

Bhawna – Supervisor

I believe that children learn best through play and exploring the world around them. My philosophy is to nurture children with an environment that is warm, inviting and that provides them with the opportunities for intellectual growth and development. My focus is on creating a positive environment where children discover the love for learning that will foster creativity, confidence and resilience through play-based experience.

Young – ECE Teacher

I enjoy spending time with children and communicating with them. Children have positive and bright energy. Those make me positive person too.  I also know that this is the most important time for children to grow up, so I try everything to have a good influence on them. Watching children grow is the most rewarding and rewarding thing for me.

Isrra – ECE Teacher

Hi, my name is Israa, and I am an Early Childhood Educator with over 12 years of experience. I love working with children and supporting their learning through play, creativity, and exploration. I create a safe, caring, and fun environment where children can grow with confidence and curiosity.

Naz – ECE Teacher

 

My name is Nastaran but the children call me Nas. I have many years of experience in the Early Childhood field. I love my job, because we get to have fun through learning! I am looking forward to working with you and your children as we get to explore many adventures together! 

Amy – ECE Teacher

I am so glad and grateful to be a part of the Birchland Tree House and working with great staff and lovely children.
As I have been working with young children at my church Sunday School for a long time and also raising my two kids, I have realized that each child is very precious. I want to make precious memories with Birchland’s children. 

 
 

Komal – ECE Teacher

Hello! My name is Komal Pandya and I have been working with young children for the last 15 years, with over 10 years in Canada and 5 years of field experience overseas in India. I have a degree in Early childhood education. When not working, I love to spend time with my two Kids and family.
I am so excited to join the Birchland team I have a great love for learning, creating, singing, and interacting with children at the preschool level. Children are so imaginative, creative, and ready to learn! I view children as having unique capabilities and strive to give them appropriate tools and opportunities to develop them to their fullest potential. I view my role as a teacher to be that of a guide, ready and able to provide those tools and opportunities. I intend to inspire interest and excitement to explore and discover our beautiful world.

Ravinder Kaur – Assistant

Myself Ravinder Kaur. In March 2023, I graduated from Trinity Western University Langley with a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership. Additionally, I attended Pacific Rim College Victoria for my course in guiding and caring. For eight years, I taught at a Christian school in India. I have spent the last nine years educating children of all ages since teaching is my life& passion. My Years of teaching experience have helped me develop a teaching philosophy that directs how I assist my students in acquiring new skills and excellent manners. Establishing their comfort in the classroom is the first step towards ensuring their success. Thus, I foster an open atmosphere there. I like using creative
techniques to educate kids. Being a member of the Birchland Tree House brings me much joy
and gratitude.

Out of School Program Staff:

Amanpreet – Out of School Supervisor

I bring strong experience in preschool teaching, health and nutrition, and hands‑on program support. At Birchland Treehouse Care, I excel in supervising children, ensuring safety, and planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activities. I am committed to creating a warm, positive learning environment and building strong relationships with children and families. With a background in program management, I design creative activities—including sensory art, nature exploration, and early STEM play—that support each child’s growth and development.

Senab – Out of School Program Teacher

I have over 20 years of experience working in the Early Childhood Education field. I am passionate about supporting children’s growth and development in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Working with children brings me great joy, as their curiosity, creativity, and happiness inspire me every day.

Rekha – Out of School Program Teacher

After working as an Attorney-at-Law in Sri Lanka, I transitioned into the field of early childhood education in Canada, driven by a growing passion for supporting children’s development during their early years. I am currently an Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) with 1.5 years of experience, committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and developmentally supportive environment for children.

Farzana – Out of School Program Assistant

It’s been almost 3 years since I joined the team at Birchland Treehouse. Since then I have met some of the friendliest staff i could have imagined. Not only do I enjoy my coworkers but I’m also honoured to be a positive influence to all the children.

Ava – ECE Teacher

To know a bit about me, I am known to be very energetic and my relationship with children. It gives me joy to be able to care for them, spend time with them, and be involved in their development. I am eager to  have started my journey with Birchland Tree House Play Care Ltd. and to have the opportunity to work with many families, their loved ones, and also their kind and helpful staff. 

I am currently studying ECE and Bachelor of Education. In the near future my goal is to open my own daycare and a non-for-profit organization for childrens in poverty. 

Tree Climbers Preschool Teachers:

Hello everyone, my name is Anupa and I am from India. I am an Early Childhood Educator and aspiring my way to the diploma in early childhood education. I am very passionate to work with children and I am happy to be a part of children’s learning journey. I like to work with children because they are curious and energetic. I have gained experience and knowledge through my different volunteering experiences and working as an educator. I am happy to be the part of the Birchland Tree House and looking forward to teach and learn from children.

Mia – Infant and Toddler Teacher/Supervisor

It is such a pleasure to work with Birchland’s lovely children and amazing staff. I am both a teacher and a mom. I believe teaching children at this stage in their lives, creates a beginning in life’s sketchbook, and it is my pleasure to be apart of that. The children’s bright smiles make me appreciate my work as a teacher.

Afsaneh – Infant and Toddler Teacher

Hi, I’m Afsaneh. I enjoy working with children and creating a warm, caring, and safe environment where they feel comfortable and supported. I have 5 years of experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and I love helping children learn and grow through play and daily activities. I believe every child is unique, and I try to support their development with patience, kindness, and positive guidance.

Hailey – Infant and Toddler Teacher

Hi, My name is hailey and I am from korea. I majored in early childhood education in korea. And I have ECE IT, SN certificate.

Working at Birchland is great because we believe that children, develop physical, cognitive, language, emotional, social, and creative skills through their everyday play experiences.

Young – Infant and Toddler Teacher

I am very excited to join the Birchland Tree House team and happy to be working with the children.  I graduated from the ECE program from Vancouver Career College and I also volunteered in Sunday School teaching children at my church for over 14 years.  It is a real joy and very rewarding for me to watch the childrens’ growth and development on a daily basis.  I love working at Birchland Tree House because not only do I love spending time with children, I also love seeing them learn new things and getting better at tasks they initially had troubles with.  The part I enjoy the most about my work is the bond you form with the children and their families and the enjoyment on their faces when they arrive at the centre.
